International Playgroup Final Report

I'm so behind on updating the blog that the playgroup seems like sooooooo long ago. And the last week was in the middle of June, so it has been awhile now. I last posted when we were halfway through, so here are some pictures of the second half.

T is for train. Each kid decorated a box as a train car and we lined them up and made a long train.

We took a field trip to our local museum.

This is a terrible picture, but we had a sports day where we played indoor bowling and indoor basketball. We used the hallway as our bowling alley.
And just a word about the lack of pictures and photo quality: when you are in charge of 8-12 little people under the age of 4, sometimes you do not have enough hands to be taking quality photos. Sometimes I would get to the end of our time together and realized I hadn't taken a single one. Thankfully, some of the other moms usual snapped some and passed them along.
This one makes me laugh. We made a volcano for letter V. When we said we would put things inside to watch it erupt, the boy in the front right might have misunderstood the force with which it would erupt :)

We had a fashion show when we learned the Chinese words for items of clothing.
I'm really glad we decided to host it, and I was really, really glad when it was over. If we do it again, we'll find a location other than our home. Not because we don't like having people in our home, but because it was more work before and after each session prepping and cleaning.
